Your Past Does Not Prevent Your Future

Many people believe that their past separates them from God’s love and redemption. If this was true, no one would go to Heaven. God will take your past and give you a future. In Acts 9 we read that Jesus redeemed a murderer who was killing Christians.

"As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him.4 He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” “Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked. “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied.6 “Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

Jesus came to Saul and instructed him to change his ways. Jesus then called Saul to ministry.

Jesus did not care about Saul’s past, because He could see Saul’s future.

Jesus sees your future too. All you need to do is believe in Him.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
